A night to remember at Together Co’s Autumn Gala

Last weekend (Saturday 5th October), I had the absolute pleasure of attending Together Co’s Autumn Gala, and I was joined by our Senior Paid Media Manager, Alice, plus the lovely Jeremy Horne from our friends at DataCove. What a fantastic night of glitz and glamour – all while raising vital funds for an incredible cause.

As one of the headline sponsors, Prolific 10 was proud to support such a wonderful event and to contribute to a charity that does so much for tackling loneliness and isolation.

The highlight of the evening for me? Ray Lewis. What an incredible talent! His performance was captivating, and it really set the tone for the rest of the night. There was also a fun game of Heads and Tails - although, admittedly, Alice and I didn’t get very far!

One of the most touching moments of the night was the screening of Autumn of Life, a heartfelt film that follows the budding friendship between two elderly care home residents, Bert and George. The film captured the challenges of ageing, loneliness, and the healing power of friendship. Bert, a cold and stand-offish character, is forced to open up to George, whose positive and grateful nature is the complete opposite. It was an emotional film and it clearly resonated with the audience.

Of course, no gala would be complete without some dance floor action. I got my glitter on and had a great boogie, although my feet didn’t thank me for it the morning after...

One of the best parts of the night was meeting Gail Porter, Together Co’s ambassador. She was lovely and so down-to-earth, making the evening even more special.

Together Co do fantastic work year-round, and it was an honour to support them at this event.
